01About
Infrastructure, kept dependable.
I am a Windows System Administrator based in Pune with more than two decades in IT — from on-site desktop support in the early days of Windows Server 2003 to administering the servers, firewalls and virtualization platform of a large educational institution.
At Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce I look after the infrastructure that staff and students rely on every day: Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and WSUS, the Sophos internet firewall and bandwidth, VMware ESXi virtualization with VEEAM backups, and the Microsoft Teams environment used for online classes.
My focus is dependable, security-conscious infrastructure administration — keeping systems patched, monitored, backed up and available, and being the person staff can call when something stops working.
